Mặc dù mỗi ngày cả nước vẫn còn trên 16.000 cho tới dưới 17.000 ca nhiễm COVID-19 mới (F0), nhưng số liệu COVID-19 tuần qua (ngày 20 – 26/12) đã cho thấy những tín hiệu tích cực.

Theo đó, tổng số F0 chỉ tăng nhẹ hơn 2,3% (111.054 trong tuần vừa qua so với 108.532 của tuần trước đó), song số trường hợp khỏi bệnh đã tăng mạnh hơn 167% (142.265 trong tuần vừa qua so với 53.242 của tuần trước đó).

Thêm nữa là tổng số bệnh nhân COVID-19 tử vong trong tuần 20 – 26/12 đã giảm 79 trường hợp (gần 4,6%) so với tuần 13 – 19/12, cụ thể là 1.648 so với 1.727.

Trong 7 ngày của tuần qua, có tới 4 ngày ghi nhận số trường hợp khỏi bệnh cao hơn số bệnh nhân mới. Đáng chú ý là ngày 21/12 có tới 50.191 F0 khỏi bệnh, cao nhất trong những tuần gần đây. Con số 30.833 F0 khỏi bệnh của ngày 24/12 cũng ấn tượng không kém.

Lấy trung bình số ca nhiễm mới của tuần qua so với đỉnh dịch hôm 2/9, có thể thấy dù F0 đang tăng cao mỗi ngày những tỉ lệ tử vong lại thấp hơn. Cụ thể, ngày 2/9 có 13.186 F0 mới và 271 trường hợp tử vong; còn trung bình tuần 20 – 26/12 có 15.865 F0 (cao hơn 2.679 F0) mới và 235 trường hợp tử vong (thấp hơn 36 trường hợp).

Nếu như các tuần trước, địa phương ghi nhận nhiều F0 nhất trong ngày liên tục thay đổi thì cả 7 ngày gần đây đều thuộc về Hà Nội. Thêm trên 1.600 cho đến trên 1.900 F0/ngày, Hà Nội có tổng cộng 12.359 F0 trong tuần qua. Thành phố này dự báo có thể tăng lên con số 2.000 – 3.000 F0 mới mỗi ngày.
